It might take you a bit more time to get it all done but make sure you do it right.
Once the crockpot is full, place the lid on it and cook the ingredients on high. How long should tamales steam? This should cook for around 6 hours. Those on the edges might cook faster than the others, which is normal. After your tester is okay, simply unplug your appliance and remove the lid.
Avoid unwrapping until they set for around 15 minutes.
