The Recipes

French Toast Casserole

First, you will have to prepare a cup of brown sugar, half a cup of butter, 2 cups of milk, 6 eggs, a loaf of French bread, a pinch of ground cinnamon, two teaspoons of vanilla extract, and a tablespoon of brown sugar.

Start by greasing a baking dish, ready for the baking process. Next, stir some butter and a cup of brown sugar together in low heat. Continue until the sugar dissolves in the melted butter. That will take around two minutes. Then pour it into the greased baking dish, making sure to spread it evenly. Cut the bread into pieces and spread them on the top.

Next, beat the vanilla extract, eggs, and milk together in a bowl and pour the resulting mixture into a baking dish. Ensure to move the bread as required so that it absorbs the liquid. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top and cover with plastic wrap. After that, refrigerate for around 8 hours or overnight.

Finally, preheat the oven to around 450 degrees Fahrenheit and remove the plastic wrap. Sprinkle some of the brown sugar left on it and bake in the oven for around 30 minutes. It should be ready after it starts bubbling or it turns brown.
